Watch out:
For the professions of nurse (in general care – excluding the ‘Diploma gegradueerde verpleger/verpleegster’ qualifications issued by the Flemish Community of Belgium) and midwife, holders of a qualification referred to in Annex 5.2.2. or 5.5.2. of Directive 2005/36/EC are exempt from the recognition procedure and may apply directly to the Ministry of Health and Social Security, Health Professions Department ( professions.sante@ms.etat.lu), for authorisation to practise.
