The Ministry of Research and Higher Education – ministère de la Recherche et de l’Enseignement supérieur (MESR) – is in charge of recognising qualifications awarded abroad in order to access professions regulated at higher education level. In this context, distinction is made between liberal professions, health professions, psychotherapists and medical professions, while the access to the CCDLs is obtained through the specific procedure of homologation. Please refer to the headings for more information.

Do you need a duplicate?

A duplicate will be issued upon payment of a fee of €10 to the following account:

Reference: Duplicate of diploma recognition, MESR, [applicant’s name], [date of application]

The application must be accompanied by:

  • a copy of an identity document,
  • a copy of the qualification,
  • proof of payment of the fee (debit note),
  • and a valid postal address.
