The Assistance Centre originates from the Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications and the Regulation (EU) 2018/1724 establishing a single digital gateway to provide access to information, to procedures and to assistance and problem-solving services (Single Digital Gateway).
It is a single point of contact providing citizens and/or businesses with easy access to verified information, efficient procedures and assistance, as well as problem-solving services in the context of recognition of professional qualifications. It can be used in the event of questions, problems or difficulties encountered in relation to the procedures themselves, or in relation to information provided on citizens‘ and/or businesses’ rights, obligations, rules or the different procedures in the context of recognition of professional qualifications.
